Dean and Kyria

Dean and Kyria began serving in Ethiopia in June 2023. They spent the first year of their assignment with a full-time focus on learning the Amharic language. Dean has now begun work on a “Faith and Farming” initiative, bringing Christ and Scripture to people in agriculture.

Prayer requests:
Pray for relationships with other mission partners, especially as team members have changed in their short time already. Prayer requests:
Pray for perseverance in language acquisition.
Pray for developing relationships at their church and in their neighborhood.
Pray for provision for all their needs as a couple and as parents, including helpers for their son so they can continue language study.
Pray for Dean as he is preaching often in their Ethiopian congregation.
Praises:
Praise God for his provision for them – including this assignment in Ethiopia, a good housing situation, and the time to focus on language learning.
Praise God for their son, who celebrated his second birthday in May.
