Life In College

38152We understand that moving to a new city to start a new phase of life is great. Many of the members of our community are connected to universities which surround City Reformed. We also know that this season of life can bring challenges and adversity. We want to be there to help.

Our community groups are a great place for students to get connected.

We are pleased to be partners with Derek Bates of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF.org). Derek is a pastor whose heart for students brought him, his wife and their new son to Pittsburgh in the fall of 2008. For more information on RUF in Pittsburgh, see the University of Pittsburgh RUF website. Students at other universities in the area participate in a city-wide RUF group on Friday nights.

If you are a new student looking to connect with us, or a prospective student hoping to learn more about our church community, you can contact us here.

5 Year Vision

Our church was started in 2004 as a church plant of First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Penn Hills. In February 2008 we become an independent church (particularized) in the Presbyterian Church in America denomination.  As part of this process we became financially self supporting in the summer of 2007 and elected elders (leaders) of the church in January of 2008. This process was completed when we elected local deacons and women leaders, in the fall of 2008.
