FAQs
What do you believe?City Reformed is a Christian, Protestant, Reformed, Evangelical Mission-minded church. Need help unpacking that? Click here.
What will the worship service be like?
Our worship is relaxed but focused. Our goal is not to entertain, instead we hope that our service is challenging and thought-provoking. We follow a basic pattern of meeting together that is traced back to the early Church. We teach from the Bible. We pray, meditate, sing and reflect.
What should I wear?
At City Reformed, you're welcome to wear whatever you'd like. There is no set dress code, although the attire is more on the casual side. We ask that people dress in a way that is not distracting.
How do I get to a service?
What about my kids? Do you have a children's ministry?
Absolutely. We are committed to families that worship God together. Before church, we have Sunday School for all ages. [Sunday School runs from the Fall through the Spring with a break during the summer months.] We have two carefully supervised nurseries that run during the service. One is for infants and the other is for ages 1-5. In addition we have a children's church for ages 5-8 during the sermon that focuses on the same material as the sermon, plus Bible memory. Parents are also welcome to keep their children in the worship service. We believe that all people are welcome to worship with us and we don’t mind a little fussing.
Can I invite my friends?
Please do. We seek to be a welcoming environment for people who are curious about Christianity or who are seeking to belong to a community of believers.
How can I get involved?
There are so many ways to get connected at City Reformed. The best way for you to get involved is to join one of our Community Groups. Community Groups gather in various homes once a week for the purpose of meeting new people, discussion and having fun together.
